Welcome to Falcon Woods Pool! We are so excited to be able to swim this summer. We have put together rules and guidelines in order to keep our pool safe and fun for everyone. Please look these over and review them with your family. Thank you!

POOL HOURS: 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily - Saturday May 11th through September 26th, 2024
Scheduled Closures – Pool is closed during swim team practices and meets – as follows:
May 13h – May 24th 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm (M-F) Practice
May 25th – June 26th 8:45 am – 11:45 am (M-F) Practice
June TBD 4:00 pm – 10 pm (Meet)
June TBD 4:00 pm – 10 pm (Meet)
TBD 6:00 pm – 10 pm (Awards night and swim party)
LIFEGUARD HOURS:
12:00 pm to 6:00 pm Daily
NON-LIFEGUARD HOURS:
All members ages 18 years and older entering the pool during unguarded hours must use their individual access card issued in 2020-2024 upon the payment of annual dues. Please do not permit access to individuals knocking at the door. Members utilizing the pool outside of the lifeguard hours are responsible for securing the pool during use and upon exit. Note: All individuals using the pool during unguarded hours Swim At Your Own Risk (SAYOR). Children 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult 21 years of age of older.
ACCESS CARDS:
Falcon Woods issues an access card to each household and to Outside Members upon the full payment of the 2024 membership dues. Support Members are not issued access cards and are not authorized to use the pool or tennis courts.
During lifeguard hours, all members must be ready to present the Falcon Woods Membership Access Card. Replacement cards cost $10 and 1 additional card costs $5. Contact admin@falconwoods.org if you need a replacement or additional access card.
GUESTS:
Guests must be accompanied by a FWRHA member over the age of 12. Member ages 13-17 are permitted ONE GUEST ONLY. Guests must sign in with the lifeguard. Falcon Woods residents who are not FWRHA full members may not use the pool as a guest. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please do not allow your children to invite neighbors who are not full members to the pool. If they do, you will be contacted and asked to inform your guest’s parents that their children are no longer permitted at the pool.
UNDER-AGE SWIMMERS:
Senior Swimmers: Children ages 13-17 may swim during lifeguard hours only if they are not accompanied by an adult age 21 years or older.
Junior Swimmers: Children ages 10-12 (on or before September 1st of the current swim year) are eligible to take an annual swim test in order to attend the pool unaccompanied by an adult during lifeguard hours only. Please contact FWRHA board to determine schedule for testing. Junior Swimmers are permitted alone during lifeguard hours only.
Children ages 12 and under who have not completed the swim test requirements are not permitted inside the fenced pool area without a parent or guardian.
ADULT SWIM:
The last 10 minutes of each hour provides a safety break for the lifeguard and to ensure that the pool is cleared and all persons are accounted for. During this period, personnel shall not be on duty and neither the personnel nor Falcon Woods shall be responsible for persons using the pool during said safety break. Adults are the only persons that may swim at that time – at their own risk.
POOL CONDUCT:
Lifeguards have full authority to maintain discipline over all pool users.
Standard Red Cross safety rules apply at all times.
Falcon Woods is a family pool. The use of vulgar music and/or language is prohibited. Violators will be warned once. If it continues, you will be asked to leave the premises.
Select one table or set of chairs for your family. Do not move pool furniture as we have created this layout with safety in mind.
Please bring your own sanitizing wipes to clean and sanitize your area before and after visiting the pool.
No running, pushing, rowdiness, fence climbing or public intoxication.
Proper swim attire is required. No street clothes, denim shorts, or thong bathing suits are permitted.
No disposable diapers. Use swim diapers or cloth diapers with rubber pants while in the pool.
Only swim wear is allowed while swimming. No cut-offs are allowed.
Absolutely no diving in water less than 8 feet deep.
Smoking is allowed in designated area only near deep end of pool. No cigars. Chewing gum and tobacco are prohibited in pool area.
Keep all food, drinks, cigarettes, trash, debris out of and away from the pool. Place all trash in receptables.
No glass items in pool area.
No pets in pool area.
No socializing with lifeguard while on duty.
Please do not enter the pool if you are ill. You must be at least 24 hours free of fever and diarrhea/vomiting without medication prior to entering the pool area.
No large flotation devices in deep end. Be considerate of other swimmers when using floats and pool toys. Lifeguard may require removal of large floats or other toys which interfere with other swimmers or general safety.
Non-swimmers using flotation devices other than a U.S. Coast Guard approved life vest must be accompanied in the pool by an adult. A non-swimmer is defined as someone who is unable to swim the width, over and back, of the pool – unassisted by any person or flotation device). Flotation devices of any size are not allowed in the deep end of the pool.
POOL RULES:
Pool rules can be amended by the FWRHA Board at any time. The lifeguard has complete authority to enforce all pool rules. Refusal to comply with the lifeguard will result in immediate notification of an FWRHA Board Member for resolution.
